What is the FSI AnglAm?
Below you will find everything you need to know about the FSI. If you have any further questions or uncertainties, don't hesitate to send us an email.
Who are we?
English and American Studies students of all semesters who have one thing in common: an affinity for the English language and a desire to get involved with the university and their fellow students.
Do you fit this description? Then come along and join in! We are happy about every helping hand.
What do we do?
We play an active role in shaping everyday life at the university. We are the student contact persons of the Department of English and American Studies. For fellow students, we offer events such as workshops and study groups and various small services, such as collecting and archiving old exams, which can then be viewed at our office. We simply try to make your everyday university life as pleasant and uncomplicated as possible; be it through a cozy evening at a PubQuiz, a joint barbecue or video evening or simply a hot cup of tea or coffee.
Where can you find us?
Every Thursday from 6 pm at Dorotheenstraße 28, room 0.08 - feel free to drop by!
Your FSI AnglAm wants YOU:
Are you a student? Are you studying English or American Studies in some form or fashion? Do you think that your time at university should consist of more than just lectures and studying? Do you want to get actively involved at the institute and with other students? Do you like our events? Do you have a specific suggestion for change or an idea for an event that you would like to organize?
Then welcome to the FSI AnglAm! As you know, the FSl is an institution by students for students, so it's clear what we need: students!
For us, for you, and for future generations of students who would also like to have a functioning FSI.
We are looking for:
- committed AnglAm students of all semesters
We offer:
- interesting insights into the university organization
